After the upgraded and amended software for the new housing allocation policy went live on 19 May, we want to update our customers on the progress made to date and the timeline for further implementation.
The bidding system has now been suspended until mid-July 2025. This is to allow our existing customers time to reapply, and for officers to assess and process applications before properties are advertised again.
Applicants who had an active application before 19 May 2025 will need to reapply as soon as possible. However, there may be a delay to these applications being processed, as we had asked for reapplications to be made by 16 June 2025.
We are aiming to re-open bidding by mid-July. Thank you all for your patience whilst we carry out the work of assessing and processing over 1,000 applications.
